The Zebulon Community Park sits on 47.5 acres and is the town's largest park with two athletic fields, a walking trail, two outdoor basketball courts, two playgrounds and a picnic shelter. The park is also home to one of North Carolina's best disc golf courses with 8 holes, 57 par and 6439 ft with moderate hills and woods.
At the Zebulon Community Center locals come to take part in numerous programs and activities throughout the day including an open gym area, two fitness centers, activity rooms, art room and a classroom. This venue is available to rent and is a great space for events, meetings, banquets, or birthday parties.
Five County Stadium is the home of the Carolina Mudcats and where America's favorite sport is played. The Mudcats have provided affordable family fun for over 30 years in the 6500 seat stadium. Special events are held throughout the baseball season including Education Days, Two Barks and Brews games, Splash Day and Muddy the Mudcat's birthday.
Through the work of Preservation Zebulon, 100 + year old homes are open during the Historic Homes Tour in the Zebulon Historic District. The tour is available to ticket holders and is a unique opportunity to view architecture and history of Zebulon's oldest homes.
